We have been using V Maids for a few years now and have always been happy with their work for regular housekeeping. Vaclav goes above and beyond to try to fit your schedule and now that we have a lock box it’s easier than ever to schedule a cleaning since we don’t actually have to be there. I trust them to be in our home and get the job done! We have quite a large space, but I never feel like anything was overlooked. At the end of the day, it’s just wonderful to come home to a clean and tidy house! The ladies are friendly and get right down to business. I recommend this team if you need basic housecleaning (no high reaching).

V-​Maids are excellent. I’ve used them when I lived in Noble Square as well as in UKV. They are prompt, quick, efficient, and very sweet. Scheduling is easy, and they do a great job. The price is ultra competitive and worth the money. I’ve recommended them to friends and family in the area. We ended up having them come twice per month and have never looked back. This makes my relationship with my husband a zillion times better since we don’t resent any mess and we are forced to tidy up in advance at least twice per month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had my first home cleaning with them yesterday and am extremely happy with the results and service! I called on Tuesday to see if they had availability the following day and they quickly fit me into the schedule. It turns out they already service others in my building! The man I spoke to (I apologize, I didn’t catch his name) was very friendly and professional. He was very clear about pricing, payments options, what would be cleaned, and the time frame (1 hour window for arrival, 1.5−2 hours for the cleaning). The ladies arrived on time and did a wonderful job. I showed them specific areas I wanted cleaned and they understood clearly. I normally don’t write reviews but the ladies did such a great job that I wanted to spread the word! I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Had been using VMaids for a long time for move-​outs and thought they did a great job so I tried them on my own home every once in awhile. Again, great job. So when I hurt my back I decided to have them come every other week.
Everything was going song just fine and then I got a different team. I had a problem and called Vaclav. He tore up my check and told me to try again. This new team has been working since January and I’m very happy with their work.
I’m very pleased with the way it was handled. I would highly recommend their services.

I’ve been working with Vaclav for years. He listens, he pays attention, and my place is always sparkling when his team leaves.
We’re not the kind of people who want to be hiring a cleaning service for our place, but I can’t tell you how great this organization is. They do a great job and they’re very easy to work with and our house looks like the Ritz when they’re done.

These are the best cleaning people I’ve found in the city in the 13 years I’ve lived here.
They’re not cheap, but they do an outstanding job and don’t nickel and dime you. Very straight forward, they let you pay later if you’re gone when they leave, and I can typically schedule them just a week or two out. Very nice work.

Let’s clear up a few things. In response to the reply below.
It was not made aware to me that they had a 2 hour limit, maybe it’s written somewhere and I didn’t see it. I just wanted a clean apartment, however long it took. And instead, I came home to things broken and things out of place (pictures not put back, furniture not put back, etc.)
It’s true, we had a miscommunications about the blinds. I wish they had left them completely alone because they were broken when I got home and the pieces not even picked up from the floor.
Also yes this owner asked me if I would like to TAKE THE TIP AWAY FROM HIS WORKERS which would not subtract from HIS total, it would only subtract from theirs. And while I was not at all pleased with their job, I suspect it’s a management problem as you can tell by the MANY excuses that are being made by the owner.
The tub part they cleaned was not even the part I pointed out. And the tub still looked terrible and it’s part that come up just fine when I clean it. You can tell by the photos there was noway 50 minutes was spent on the tub.
Also that was not the only part of the baseboard not cleaned, there are many sections that were not touched. Maybe they ran out of cleaning solution (eye roll). Also there was dust everywhere, not just the blinds. TV stand was covered and the fans didn’t need to washed, we dust them and they’re fine. They also aren’t above 8 ft. tall.
Also, I’ve seen other complaints about Vmaids on EveryBlock, so if you want more proof that this isn’t worth the money, you can check on there as well.
I mean, if you like dust, broken blinds and excuses, and an owner who suggests you take money away from his workers… not his company… this is your company.

I have used VMaids for a long time. Typically, their service has been okay. But this year has not gone smoothly. First, I had to ask FIVE TIMES IN A ROW that they dust my lamps. Seriously, it took five requests for dusting to happen. This is crazy.
Even more crazy was this Tuesday, when I tuned in on my puppycam to see what my dogs were up to. Instead, I saw one of the two housekeepers I was paying for just sitting on a chair in my entry, talking to the other housekeeper while that woman was hard at work. I heard her reading aloud from the label of something left on my table, asking her coworker what it meant. I watched for several minutes because I was in disbelief. I then asked the owner to please make sure both people I am paying were working. He denied they ever weren’t working; they lied to him and said no one was ever not working. I sent him a screen shot of the lady sitting and chatting. He made more excuses, saying her sitting there must have been related to the cleaning effort … unbelievably!
I asked for a guarantee that this crew will not be at my place again, which he refused to promise. Guess I will be finding a new cleaning service.
In response to the inappropriate post by the VMaids owner: Notice how Vaclav is more worried about his staff being caught sitting down on the job than he is about them doing their job? And how he thinks trying to embarrass his client and threaten legal action is the correct way to respond to a complaint about his staff not working, then lying about it? That’s all you need to know about VMaids. His post is not accurate and I will not dignify it with a response.

So we recently switched cleaning ladies due to laziness of our other lady.
We got V Maids recommended by a friend.
Its super easy online scheduling, which you know I love. Also, you can pay via chase quickpay… BONUS! They also give you a small discount for first time and also recurring cleanings.
We have used them 2 times… and I am not sure if we are going to continue.
1^st time
Cleaning was good, not great. The stove top was still dirty. Other than that, it was a pretty good job. What I really didnt like was that they broke my lighted up make up mirror and left it on the floor in the bathroom. I understand things happen, however they didnt leave a note or anything. When I contacted them, they were very responsive and paid for a replacement. 2.5 hrs initial cleaning for 2bed/​2bath. pretty average.
2^nd time
Asked them to not clean spare bedroom. Arrived in my home at 1026AM. I went grocery shopping and came home at 1220PM. They were still finishing up. At 1225PM, they were walking out the door. They left the card and stated they were here for 2.5hours. So again, I called the business and were responsive. They said they paid the meter at 10AM. But I am paying for cleaning, not how long it takes for you to get inside my home. Moreover, how did it take just as long, minus a bedroom? Plus, I asked them to thoroughly clean the stove top and it still had stuff on it.
They are very responsive to complaints, however I really shouldnt have had to call and complain! I want to be able to trust my cleaners. I feel that they are fairly slow to clean because its based on an hourly rate and not a set fee.
I told them we are giving them one more chance and if its not done properly and fast, we will be on the lookout for another cleaner.
